Join fellow beaders to work on any past guild project, any project you would like to start, or any project you are currently working on.  Come see what project(s) other beading enthusiasts are working on.  Remember, beaders of all levels are welcome!!

And 'Show And Tell' is encouraged and enjoyed by everyone.  Looking forward to seeing you at the meeting.

Easy Netted Ornament Cover

Carol R. will lead us in the Easy Netted Ornament Cover from the Bead & Button project booklet titled Easy Beaded Ornaments.  This booklet is part of the “easy-does-it” series and includes eight projects (3 ornament covers, a Christmas spider, two beaded wire snowflake variations, a crystal ornament, and a beaded floral ornament adornment).  You’ll want to make several for yourself or gifts for others.  

A copy of the booklet is available for viewing at the monthly meetings.  The booklet price is $7.95.  The deadline for ordering is June 2.

Supplies:

·         Japanese seed beads - size 11 in 2 colors: first color is used predominantly and the second color is used very sparsely. Coordinate these 2 colors with the color of the ball ornament it will cover.

·          1 Clear or colored glass ball ornament 2-5/8" diameter

·          Nymo B or D or Silimide Thread

·          Beading needle, size 10 or 12

·          Thread Conditioner of choice

·          Clear nail polish (optional)

·          E6000 (optional)

Open Beading!

Bring your project of choice to work on.  Do you have a nametag to finish before retreat?  Maybe a nametag you want to embellish with beads or charms (beaded fringe or neck strap)?  Bring your beads!!  And other finishing supplies.  Member Mary L. will bring several of her beaded neck straps she has made for her nametags.

We always enjoy show and tell too!!
