Potpourri Stitchers: Luna The Crow Sewing Case (Tue, June 16, 2026)

Kris H. has reserved the party room in her complex from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. BYOB and stay as long as you like!

Our project will be a folding sewing case in the shape of a bird!

From Etsy, carefully purchase and download the pattern for “Luna the Crow Sewing Case” from Wishing Shed, Rachel Austin in the UK. (Beware of imposters!) Here is the link:

Kris changed that black bird into a parrot. Of course, she did! We will explore adapting the pattern into a bald eagle with a USA theme. Bring colors of felt or wool to make anything you’d like!

This month the group will meet from 10 am–7 pm if you can stay.

2026 Retreat - Registration Event and Classes (Wed, August 12, 2026)

The Retreat 2026 Invitation is now available and registration is officially open! Please pay close attention to the registration deadlines for the different classes!

This lovely hotel/conference center setting allows the greatest flexibility for everyone attending retreat. Staying overnight at the hotel is optional. Our room block includes both single and double rooms.

Parking at the hotel is free.
The hotel is holding five meeting rooms with outside windows for us.
This year, our retreat registration fee is $555 which includes 11 meals, beginning with Wednesday breakfast and ending with Saturday lunch and snacks. The complete meal package will apply to all retreat attendees.
