Our annual ornament project is the Star of Wonder Ornament pattern by Teresa Morse of Iceni Bead Design in the United Kingdom. The pattern price is around $8.50 and can be purchased here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/604321186/bead-pattern-star-of-wonder-christmas.

This ornament is double-sided and may be worn as a pendant. In this meeting, we will bezel the rivolis and build the inner disk. In December (Part 2) we will discuss the outer bands and how to finish the ornament.

Supply list:

A copy of the pattern
two 14mm rivolis
six 4mm crystal bicones (matching the rivolis)
4 grams size 11 Delica beads, color A (inner disk color)
5 grams size 11 Delica beads, color C (matching the rivoli)
3 grams size 11 Delica beads, color B (accent color)
1 gram size 15 seed beads, matching color B
favorite beading thread, equivalent to Nymo size B or D
size 10 or 12 beading or sharp needle
usual beading supplies

This group meets monthly on the 2nd Friday from 10am–12pm.
