Volunteer positionsThe Guild runs entirely on member volunteers. These are the roles that keep it going — step into one for the year, or help out however you can. PresidentLeads the board, sets the year’s direction, and runs the annual meeting. Vice PresidentSupports the President, steps in when needed, and leads special projects. TreasurerKeeps the books — dues, expenses, deposits, and the annual budget. SecretaryTakes minutes at meetings and keeps the Guild’s official records. Events & ProgramsPlans the year’s programs and guest speakers and books instructors. Sunday Blast EditorWrites and sends the weekly member email of reminders and news. AdvertisingCoordinates advertisers and sponsor listings, and spreads the word. Website ManagerKeeps the website current — pages, events, and member info. Website CommunicationsGathers Guild news and turns it into content for the website. LibrarianCares for the lending library — checking books in and out. Shop ManagerRuns the Guild shop — threads, kits, and supplies at meetings. Retreat ChairOrganizes the annual retreat from start to finish, usually as a team. Daytime Stitch-In LeaderHosts the daytime Stitch-In — welcoming members and opening the space. Evening Stitch-In LeaderHosts the evening Stitch-In for members who stitch after hours.
