Sashiko: Art with Needle and Thread, a lecture by Sandra Brick

Sashiko (刺し子, literally “little stabs” or “little pierce”) is a form of decorative reinforcement stitching from Japan. What are the origins of Sashiko? How many forms of Sashiko exist? How has the art form changed thought out time? What do I need to know to start my journey with Sashiko? This conversation will attempt to answer these questions.

LOCATION:   We are temporarily meeting by video conference due to COVID-19.  A registration link is on the Member Resources page.

 Mailing Address:
Needlework Guild of Minnesota
