Beading: Kaleidocycle, Part 1

  • Fri, May 14, 2021
  • 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Started by Kate McKinnon, Contemporary Geometric Beadwork is an open-source architectural beadwork project built on the pioneering work in beaded structures by such artists as Julia Pretl, Diane Fitzgerald, and Jean Power. One of their early projects is the Kaleidocycle, a turning toy made from ordinary flat peyote triangles. The pattern is free and can be downloaded from https://beadmobile.wordpress.com/cgb-free-pattern-library/basic-kaleidocycle-pattern/. (Note: when printing, use landscape orientation and fit to page options.)
