RETURN TO THE FULL CALENDAR
This tasseled book stop designed by Heather Moody from South Australia can double as a lavender sachet. Each of the four sides is embellished with lavender flowers. The lavender stems are worked in stem stitch, the leaves in detached chain stitch, and the flowers are bullion knots. Astrid Weidling will lead this program.
This is an opportunity to use your imagination! There’s no need to limit yourself to lavender… you can make this your dream garden with a variety of flowers and a wide range of surface stitches.
Each stitcher needs to have their own copy of the pattern, which was published in issue 41 of Inspirations. It can be purchased online at https://www.inspirationsstudios.com/product/inspirations-issue-41/ for $14.95 Australian dollars plus approximately $14.45 postage. There are 8 projects in this issue.
If you have this magazine, are not interested in participating in this program, and are willing to loan it to someone, please let Sandy Resnick know.
