RETURN TO THE FULL CALENDAR
This is the first session of December Dazzle, taught by Gloria Misfeldt, Janet Knoblauch, and Jan Kelly.
Sixth in a series of seasonal samplers by Nancy Cucci, December Dazzle is a sparkling collection of the reds, greens, and metallics that transform our everyday homes into Christmas wonderlands. The project includes a wide variety of decorative needlepoint stitches and techniques. The yuletide prints, patterns, and textures are accented with beads and crystals.
Tonight we will cover squares 1 through 4. Stitches to be discussed include slanted goblin, tent/continental, double upright cross, steepled sheaf, one-quarter eyelet variation, upright double cross, and reverse scotch diamond. We will also go over Nancy’s Helpful Hints for Happy Beading, which has been posted in the Member Resources section of the website with Nancy’s permission.
Jeanne Çur will also give a final presentation on finishing the “Ima Stitcher” name tag project.
LOCATION: We are temporarily meeting by video conference due to COVID-19. A link to connect to it is on the Member Resources page.
