Potpourri Stitchers: Brazilian Ornament

There are three flowers. One uses the lazy daisy stitch with bullion tie down stitches, one uses bullion stitch loops, and one uses cast-on flower stitches. Astrid will hand out pre-cut pieces of the  manila card that gets covered with the embroidered ground fabric.

Supplies required: 

  • Ground fabric to stitch surface embroidery on - silk or something else suitable
  • 3 variegated flower colors and 2 greens for the stems - suggest Lola or Iris rayon thread or a substitute
  • Milliner needles any size from 3 to 7

This group meets monthly the 3rd Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to approx. 2:00 p.m.  

LOCATION: This will be a hybrid meeting. In-person attendees will meet at a member's home TBD. The link for those connecting by video conference is on the Member Resources page.
