Potpourri Stitchers: Ribbon Scissors Holder with Fob

We will make a scissor case and fob using the materials listed below. Ribbon is folded over for the case and fob with a decorative beaded edge. There's an optional beaded fringe on the bottom and a simple rattail cord for attaching the fob to the scissors and/or hanging the case around your neck. This could also be a narrow ribbon or twisted cord.

Sandy R. has quite a stash of ribbons, beads, glue, rat tail, and beading thread to donate and there should be enough to accommodate us all.

If you prefer, you can bring your own supplies. Supply list:

• 1 or 1-1/2 inch wide jacquard ribbon, about 15 inches long
• 2 large, approx. 1/2” beads
• About 16 g of size 11 seed beads. Select 3 to 6 colors that are in the ribbon
• Fusible felt and fusible lining materials the width of the ribbon, 15 inches long
• Nymo beading thread (or something similar)
• Alene’s Tacky Glue (or something similar)
• Fray Check and Thread Heaven (optional)
