Evening Needlepointers: "Autumn Fireworks" by Beautiful Stitches

We’ll start the new year with a free project from Ann-Marie Anderson-Mayes of Beautiful Stitches: http:// beautifulstitches.com.au. Autumn Fireworks.

Connie Rosene will lead us through this 2.4” x 8.5”design, which is suitable as a bookmark, a decoration on a journal cover, an accent on a handbag, or a tablet cover. Ann-Marie teaches a workshop in which students build a box on which the design can sit. 

Supply list:

•5” x 11” Congress cloth (this allows 1.5” margin around the design; increase the dimensions if you prefer a larger margin)

• Choose your own stranded embroidery threads within these guidelines:

1 variegated thread

3 coordinating solid colors

Silks, cottons or a combination - they will be equally effective.
