Going to the Dogs Nametag: Part 1

Monique has designed a beaded name tag to go along with the Retreat theme this year, featuring a playful dogand the things dogs like: a bone, a ball, a filled food dish, and a doghouse to snooze in when tired.

There is no charge for the pattern, and it will be made available on the website in March. You are free to substitute your own bead colors for the ones listed below. Think of the ways to embellish it: dog-themed ribbon for the neck strap, dog charms, fringe, etc. We will revisit the nametag in July 2023.

You will need the following supplies:

• 7 grams Delica size 11 DB-725 (sky)
• 2 grams Delica size 11 DB-724 (grass)
• 1 gram Delica size 11 DB-10 (name)
• 1 gram Delica size 11 DB-208 (doghouse)
• 1 gram Delica size 11 DB-200 (bone, dog)
• 1 gram Delica size 11 DB-794 (dog)
• 1 gram Delica size 11 DB-734 (roof, dog food)
• 12 beads Delica size 11 DB-726 (food dish)
• 7 beads Delica size 11 DB-721 (ball)
• 3 beads Delica size 11 DB-791 (dog collar)
• Size 10-12 sharp or beading needle
• 6 lb. Fireline or size D Nymo or equivalent beading thread
• Usual beading supplies
