Evening Needlepointers: 4 x 4 x 4 Challenge Kickoff

Get ready to embark on a creative journey with our 4 x 4 x 4 Challenge 2024!

Here are the parameters: a 4” square design of your choice, worked using 4 stitches you’ve never employed before and 4 threads that are completely new to you. You won’t want to miss this chance to explore texture and to unleash your artistic spirit.

Here’s the incentive: if you complete the stitching of your piece, your name will be included in a drawing for a Sudberry Simply Square Box with a 4” x 4” opening. At this meeting, we’ll talk about possible designs. Future meetings will include a check-in, a lesson on how to paint needlepoint canvas, and a demonstration of mounting your 4x4 project in the box – plus, of course, a drawing!

This group explores a wide variety of specialty threads and stitches on canvas including counted needlepoint and finishing techniques. All stitchers welcome.
