Potpourri Stitchers: Sampler Bag Revisited

Several years ago we started a stitch sampler worked on cotton ticking or any similar stripe. The project was based around a pouch described in Inspirations Magazine, Issue #13. You need a piece of pre-washed cotton ticking 13”x16”.

The idea is to work a variety of embroidery stitches, like a sampler, in the white stripes, and cover the colored stripes with braids, cords, ribbons, or beads. Find the one you started previously or start a new one!

This group meets monthly the 3rd Tuesday from 10 am–2 pm.
