Evening Needlepointers: How to Color Needlepoint Canvas and 4 x 4 x 4 Challenge Check-In

  • Thu, April 18, 2024
  • 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Whether it’s to hide the canvas “teeth” that peek through stitches, or to modulate the color of a stitched thread, we’ve all had to color the surface of canvas to achieve an effect. In this program, we’ll review the options for coloring the surface of canvas, and we’ll have supplies available so you can try your hand with them. Whether you're a seasoned stitcher or just starting out, this program will offer something new for you.

We’ll also check in on our 4x4x4 Challenge pieces. Be prepared to tell us what four threads and which four stitches you’ve selected for your project. If you don’t have a design in mind yet, that’s OK! Our discussion will get your creative juices flowing.

This group explores a wide variety of specialty threads and stitches on canvas including counted needlepoint and finishing techniques. All stitchers welcome.
