Aunt Martha's Iron On Transfers
Perhaps you are old enough to remember those towels for the seven days of the week some of us stitched when we were younger? Betty Miller will give us some history about Aunt Martha's iron on transfer patterns. Many of these were stitched as redwork (or some other color) with a lot of outline/stem stitch and were not counted, but traced on a blank fabric. Some designs called for other stitches like French knots or lazy daisy.
If you have any vintage Aunt Martha's work that you have done in past years, please bring it for show and tell.
This group meets monthly on the 4th Tuesday from 10am - 12pm
LOCATION: The meeting is planned to be a hybrid. Those meeting in person will meet at MVUUF and those on video conference will find the link on the Members Resource page of the NGM website.
