Yubinuki (Japanese Thimbles)
Kris Hennum will instruct us in making a yubinuki. These are small Japanese thimbles that fit on your finger. Kris will supply the base, pattern, and padding. Some DMC floss and pearl cotton will also be available.
Please bring the following supplies to class:
Four Coordinating DMC Floss Skeins
One DMC Floss White
Package of Chenille Needles
Package of Sharp Needles
Sewing Thread: White
Needle Gripper
Metric Metal Ruler
Pen or Pencil
Small Fabric Pins
Scissor
Tweezers
We will supply:
Iron
Ironing Pad
Card Stock or Other Pliable Paper Source
Paper Cutter
Masking Tape
Sewing Thread in Other Colors
Cotton Material
Fabric Ruler for Cutting on the Bias
Cutting Wheel and Cutting Pad
Interfacing
