This primitive, American-style sewing roll features an exterior worked in Florentine Stitch with DMC flosses and an interior pocketed with counted thread designs worked in subtle Sampler Threads. The finished size is approximately 6” x 15”. The colors used are soft pinks to raspberry red, greens, and golds.

The bottom pocket features a charming basket of flowers surrounded by an alphabet, bees, & family initials. The middle pocket is filled with your personalization & more bees. It also houses a needle case featuring a bee keep and containing wool pages & wee pockets. The top area houses a pin keep with the saying “Polite Pins for Busy Bees”. A wee Scissors Minder completes the piece.

Stitches used include Smyrna Cross, Cross over one, Satin Stitch, Four-Sided Stitch, Stem Stitch, Satin Cushion Stitch, Nun’s Stitch, Spiral Trellis, and Florentine Stitch.
