Evening Stitch-In: Planning for 2027 & Fifteen-Sided Biscornu

Join us as we continue our Fifteen-Sided Biscornu and discuss plans for 2027!


During Retreat, I had a suggestion to start Tomato, Tomahto by Needle & Moss as a stitch along. Stitch count for Tomato is 49 x 125 (each panel, 6). If you stitch on 36 count linen, the finished size is about 4.5" tall, 6" across, with a circumference of 16". There are six panels. The piece uses only two floss colors!

Not to be outdone, the designer has just released Hello Pumpkin,


The chart includes two colorways and three panel designs. You'll need a total of six panels to finish the piece. If you stitch on 36 count linen, the finished size Stitch count is 49 x 125 for each panel. Finished size is about 4.5" tall, 6"

We will work through a half panel each month and you can choose which pattern you want to work on. both patterns are available at your local needlework shop or online. For those who have already started the Tomato, please share the fabric color choices and linen counts you have selected. You can choose one or both to work on throughout the year.

We will discuss the Fifteen Sided Biscornu and continue to work through that in 2027.

We will also have a big change in 2027. Our meeting night will change to the fourth Wednesday of each month. In January, we will meet on Wednesday, January 27 at 7:00 Central time.
