Frequently asked questions (FAQs) |
May I attend a meeting without being a member? Yes, you may attend a couple of meetings to help you determine whether membership is for you. If you have questions send an email to membership@needleworkguildmn.org. How do I connect to a meeting being held by video conference? Connecting information is on the Member Resources page, which is accessible only to members. If you need connection information or if you have difficulty connecting to an online meeting, send an email to admin@needleworkguildmn.org. Must I participate in a Stitch-In or Special Interest Group's meeting program in order to attend? No. You're welcome to attend and work on your own projects. In fact, your project doesn't even have to be relevant to the group's focus. Many of our members knit, crochet, or engage in other arts while attending. Do I need to be a member to register for the annual Retreat? You must be a member to register, and you must also be a member for the membership year in which the Retreat occurs. Do I need to physically be at a Retreat class or can I just pay all the fees and have the kit sent to me?Every person signed up for Retreat must be physically in class to get their kit. I am a member but don't live in the metropolitan area and would like to take a workshop or participate in a program. May I purchase the kit and have it mailed to me? Possibly. As long as the teacher agrees, and you pay the teaching fees, kit fees and postage, we will arrange for you to get your kit. I am a member but haven’t received my newsletter for awhile. Check your junk mail and trash folders to see if your spam filter is automatically removing the emails from the Guild or if you accidentally deleted it. If you can’t find your emails from the Guild, check that your member profile has the correct email address. Once published, newsletters are always downloadable from the Member Area > Member Resources page. |
