Beading : Ornament Balls Part 1

  • Fri, July 12, 2024
  • 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

We are starting an ornament project making a 3D ball (technically an icosahedron) using patterns from Lady Lunar Cat, found at https://ladylunarcat.com/collections/peyote-3d-ball. She has 39 patterns from which to choose, ranging in price from $6 to $12. The size 11° Delica bead amounts, as well as substitute colors, are in the pattern. Both color and word charts are included. Instructions also contain how to make an ornament top. Please note that the seller on the credit card statement will be Ukrainian Treasures.

Today we will begin by reviewing how to make a peyote-stitched triangle. You will need to bring:

Size 11° Delica beads in the colors and amounts specified in the pattern

Size 10 to 12 beading or sharp needle

Thread (can be either nylon beading thread or Fireline)

Usual beading supplies
